I was the accountant for a large insurance company for 10 years before getting involved in property marketing.
Started running property Investment seminars all over Australia over 24 years ago. We would educate clients on property/investing (negative/positive gearing)/finance). I would do cashflows and a property analysis for clients. I would liaise with brokers to understand the client’s borrowing capacity.
I managed various sales and marketing groups with a couple of companies before starting my own Melbourne based Property Marketing/Development Company with a few partners in 2003.
Here we sold around 300 properties over 2 years to the investment market. We were one of the first companies to liaise with financial planners and discuss clients borrowing in their SMSF to purchase Investment properties. We ran a large telemarketing group as well as following up clients from various social marketing lead generation companies.
I currently have a company (Australian Consulting) that builds homes for NDIS – SDA participants as well as providing facilities that provide medium and short term accommodation for other various NDIS participants.
